After an applicant completes the application process, ICCE starts an internship/training placement search.
A placement search is a process during which ICCE shares candidates¡¯ resumes, introductory videos and portfolios (should the position require them) with companies for review and consideration. These are the 2 most common phases in this process:
- Phase 1: a candidate participates in a selection process based on the resume, on the online introductory video and other materials provided
- Phase 2: a candidate has an interview usually conducted via telephone with the company/potential employer on a given day and at a given time
*Please note: not every candidate will be invited to have an interview with a company.
Only those candidates, who were selected, will have the opportunity to speak with the company
In some cases the placement process may include an additional phase, for example a preparation of an assignment given by a company for evaluation of a candidate¡¯s technical skills, portfolio or writing samples submittal (depending on the position requirements).
After the selection/interviewing process is completed and the company has decided to offer a position to a candidate, the company will then extend a Training Offer Letter to the selected candidate to formalize the offer. ICCE will send you (our partner), this TOL in order for you to obtain the selected candidate¡¯s signature, as an approval of accepting the position.
Once this stage is complete, we consider the placement to be done and we will then request all the necessary documents from the selected participant through you (our partner), to begin the documentation process for his/her visa. (Please refer to the post-placement process information of this website)
